So many beautiful ideas! I love your tip for updating old decorations. So many people throw them out (or keep them stashed away in those bins forever). Now I want to go back and re-evaluate all my old stuff! Your home is lovely – thanks for sharing!

    1. Thanks Shelley! I’m the queen of painting over things I don’t like anymore. The bad thing is, I keep too much old stuff thinking I could possible want to make it over in the future.😩

  6. I’ve gotten to where I don’t lug as many bins either. Hoping to get rid of even more this year! Love your home and your soothing touches of fall. It looks beautiful! I also love bringing in branches from outside. Hoping my neighbor doesn’t notice me using some of his! I need them to grow faster than I’m cutting them. LOL. Happy fall!

    1. Thanks Cindy! I’ve had that exact thought about sneaking into yards and taking a little greenery with me. Especially when I see they’re not going to dry hydrangeas but just let them wither away – what a waste!😂

  7. Kate, I love your home and all the wonderful ideas for cozy fall decor on a budget! That final picture of your pup melted my heart. 🥰 It’s like looking at our Louie 🐶

    1. Thanks Cristina! Your Louie must be a yorkie too. They will melt your heart every time – not only adorable but such confident personalities for tiny dogs!

  8. Oh wow, so many fabulous ideas for fall decor. I love that you like to reuse, remake and simplify, that is what I am all about at the moment. I love all of your pretty vignettes and your home looks so beautifully styled for fall without screaming orange pumpkins. Thanks so much for joining the tour again this season, your home is filled with inspiration and tips and ideas.

    1. Thank you Marty! I’m so thrilled to be a part of your tour – thank you for inviting me back!! There’s been so much amazing inspiration. I always look forward to touring everyone’s homes for the new season.

  9. What a fantastic list of budget fall decorating tips! Lots of ideas that I had never thought of. I really liked the tip for using seasonal decorations that work with your everyday decorations to save money. And of course, your home looks amazing!

Your home looks beautiful decorated for fall. I really enjoyed the tour. Funny thing, I laughed when you said that you were tempted to make a dog the 25th tip for making a home cozy for fall because I considered saying cats were 😉 To me they both definitely are.

  11. Your home looks so great for fall. We are sectional, shopping and a dark brown one like yours is definitely in the running. This year I am taking a more relaxed method of decorating and not dragging out every fall item I have collected over the years. I just feel the need for a calmer decor. I will use more color outside on my front porch when I can buy real pumpkins and mums at our farmers market.
