Come Sit By Me: Volume 79
Inside: Welcome to the weekend and our weekly catch-up, Come Sit By Me. I’m spilling the sweet tea on what’s happened this week, what’s inspiring me, and a few things that have caught my eye that I think you’ll love too!

Welcome to “Come Sit By Me”! It’s our chance to catch up on the little things I’d share with you this week if we could chat on the porch over coffee (or wine depending on the time of day).
Life Lately in a Nutshell.

• I got to see my friend’s newly finished home this week after helping her with some of the selections during the building process, and it was so fun seeing everything finally come together in real life! There are so many decisions to make that it feels overwhelming, and such a relief when it all comes together beautifully. It definitely gave me ideas for future posts about how many things people don’t think about when building a home until they actually live in it.
• I came home from Grand Cayman all pumped to “reset” this week with healthy meals, workouts, and a detox from cocktails. Instead, I immediately got hit with some sort of nasty stomach bug. I couldn’t eat or exercise for several days, which totally derailed my plans, and napping instead of working was definitely not on my agenda. My appetite has now come back with a vengeance, so hopefully the energy to play catch-up follows close behind.
• I shared my divorce reel again this week on Instagram since it’s now officially been two years, and when I think back on that scary season of my life, I’m reminded how far I’ve come. I’m grateful every day for the plan God had for me that I couldn’t see at the time, and for all the unexpected blessings that I’ve been given since then.💗
Words to Get Through the Week.

Pretty Pictures, Yummy Recipes, and Things I Just Want to Spend Money On.
This home is filled with the kind of timeless design details that feel both elevated and comfortable at the same time. From the layered textures to the warm, collected styling, every space feels thoughtfully designed in a way that still feels welcoming and livable.

I love a good Greek key outdoor pillow for its classic yet modern look and this one instantly makes an outdoor space feel polished and pulled together.

If you ever feel stuck in a dinner rut, this collection is filled with easy meal ideas that look both comforting and doable for busy evenings. I always appreciate having a few fresh recipes tucked away that make getting dinner on the table feel a little simpler and a lot more enjoyable.

This rattan-style piece has such an easy, relaxed look that works beautifully for summer decorating and entertaining. I always love accents like this that bring in texture and warmth.

This hydrangea door basket is such a beautiful way to welcome summer. I love decorating ideas like this that are simple enough to recreate with just a few favorite stems and a basket you may already have on hand.
