Come Sit By Me: Volume 54
Inside: Welcome to the weekend and our weekly catch-up, Come Sit By Me. I’m spilling the sweet tea on what’s happened this week, what’s inspiring me, and a few things that have caught my eye that I think you’ll love too!

Welcome to “Come Sit By Me”! It’s our chance to catch up on the little things I’d share with you this week if we could chat on the porch over coffee (or wine depending on the time of day).
Life Lately in a Nutshell.
- Last weekend I took another quick trip down to Waco and went to my first Baylor basketball game…and I loved it so much! The energy from the students, the great seats, the whole vibe is just fun. I even got a behind-the-scenes tour of the offices of the new arena. Of course, I was enthralled with all the meaningful touches and memorabilia they decorated the rooms and hallways with. I somehow ended up taking a picture with the national championship trophy like I’ve been following for years (but I’m a big fan now!).

- Then mid-week I went to a “Bubbly & Bingo” night for the Healing Chair. If you haven’t heard of it, The Healing Chair provides electric lift chairs to women recovering from mastectomies so they can rest and heal comfortably at home. None of our group won a single round or raffle, but it was a great excuse for us to get together and support my friend’s DFW chapter of this amazing charity.

- The rest of the week was pretty much me glued to my computer working on holiday content for the blog. I can’t wait to start sharing it… the flood of Christmas posts is about to begin!🎅
