Come Sit By Me: Volume 22
Inside: Welcome to the weekend and our weekly catch-up, Come Sit By Me. I’m spilling the sweet tea on what’s happened this week, what’s inspiring me, and a few things that have caught my eye that I think you’ll love too!

Welcome to “Come Sit By Me”! It’s our chance to catch up on the little things I’d share with you this week if we could chat on the porch over coffee (or wine depending on the time of day).
Life Lately in a Nutshell.
- My friend and I are in good position to win our fantasy league March Madness bracket if Houston beats Duke today. There’s no money involved, just bragging rights and our team name on the trophy which is more than enough to make this group competitive. Plus it gives me a reason to want to watch!

- I’m about halfway done with “Let Them” by Mel Robbins. It’s the self-help book that everyone seems to be reading and recommending so I have to see what all the hoopla is about. Many people have even gotten tattoos that say “let them” this book resonated with them so much. There’s been no connection for me that intense to what I’ve read so far. I’ll let you know if it lives up to the hype when I’m done (no tattoo in my future regardless😂).
- Although it’s rainy today, I continue to take advantage of our brief but glorious weather here in the spring by walking outside as much as I can. I’m definitely getting caught up on my podcasts. My library seems to be full of nothing but self help subjects. Many are about the blogging business, and on the personal side some of the ones I follow are “The Dr, Hyman Show”, “Happier with Gretchen Rubin”, Mel Robbin’s podcast, and the sermons for my church. Do you have any “must-listens” you think we need to know about?

Really great information! I’m curious about the Mel Robbins’ book. Keep us posted.
I somehow got into 3 March Madness brackets, with different teams picked on all three!😂 I may win one of the girls though! We will see. Have a great week!
Well with three different teams you have a better chance of winning than me Susan!😊I’ll let you know about that book. With the rain this weekend I may get a lot of it read.
