Come Sit By Me: Volume 12
Inside: Welcome to the weekend and our weekly catch-up, Come Sit By Me. I’m spilling the sweet tea on what’s happened this week, what’s inspiring me, and a few things that have caught my eye that I think you’ll love too!

Welcome to “Come Sit By Me”! It’s our chance to catch up on the little things I’d share with you this week if we could chat on the porch over coffee (or wine depending on the time of day).
Life Lately in a Nutshell.
- This past week I had a good friend who moved away staying with me and we had some of the best conversations. Each night we plopped down on the couch and did nothing but talk until 1:00 in the morning. She’s just one of those friends that makes me want to be better and achieve more in so many aspects of my life. I’m thrilled that she might be moving back in the next couple of years.

- And how clever is this thoughtful housewarming gift she gave me? The champagne flutes with a rose inside coordinate with the rose themed wine—it even has a rose cut into the bottom of the bottle.🌹 This would be a cute idea for Valentine’s Day!
- If you own a dog or cat, here’s a little piece of valuable information I didn’t know. If you can’t get into your vet with a sick pet, try an urgent care pet center. This is not the animal emergency room, but it’s like a “doc in a box” for dogs. The prices are almost in line with the regular veterinarian, you don’t need an appointment, and they have long hours even on weekends! We had an issue last Saturday that I didn’t want to let go until Monday, but she wasn’t sick enough to go to the emergency room. I ended up paying pretty much what I think I would have paid at the vet, plus they even checked on her the next day!
Words to Get Through the Week.

Pretty Pictures, Yummy Recipes, and Things I Just Want to Spend Money On.
I love that this home is described as traditional with a touch of glam. Who knew they make hot pink chinoiserie?

I love finding an everyday object that’s a little bit elevated and refined. Like these marble salt and pepper shakers. So pretty!

These yogurt sheet pan pancakes with berries are an intriguing twist on the regular round pancake. And a little bit healthier version of this delicious breakfast treat.

I have a signed copy of this coffee table book, A Home to Share, by fellow blogger Leslie Saeta and use it often in my decor. Did you know her California home has been used several times for movies?

These DIY upholstered frames are such a cute idea to add color and pattern to a room. I can picture so many gorgeous patterns for this idea!

What have you seen this week that you’re obsessed with? Let all of us in on it in the comments!
Live this weekend to the fullest,💗

Before you go:
As always, I appreciate your visit, comments, and shares here on the blog! I’d love it if you also follow along with me on Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube so you won’t miss any of my inspiration and ideas.
Love your featured wine, Cote de Roses. I remove the label and use for water during formal dinner gatherings, especially since the glass “cork” is reusable.
It’s such a pretty bottle for a gift. I did the same thing for my nondrinking friend at our girls Christmas party so she could feel like she was drinking something special too.💗
