The Best Winter White Cosmo Cocktail.
I first discovered the “Winter White Cosmopolitan” on social media. Many of these recipes are copycats attributed to a cocktail at Bonefish Grill. I love Cosmos and when I saw that it had elderflower liqueur, I thought it would be perfection. So my on first go round I following the original recipe and personally, I didn’t like it. So on my second try I made a couple of adjustments. I nixed the St. Germain and switched the fresh lime juice for fresh lemon juice, which I find slightly less tart.
Ingredients to Make this Christmas Cosmo in Winter White.
- 2 oz White Cranberry Juice
- 1.5 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz Cointreau or any Triple Sec
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Simple Syrup
- Edible glitter in white, gold, or silver (optional)
Cointreau is a premium triple sec orange liqueur brand that some believe is slightly less syrupy and sweet. I used regular triple sec and thought it was fine but it’s all a matter of taste!

How to Make Big Batch White Cosmos.
This easy drink recipe can be made ahead for holiday parties, and either shaken over ice when ready to serve, or poured over a block of festive ice with cranberries already frozen in (keep in mind it will dilute the drink as the ice melts).
I made a batch of these pretty drinks for my girls night Christmas party, put them in a decanter and floated some cranberries in it, and they were gone in no time!
