  1. Hi,
I’m anxious to try this recipe and just wondered if it can be frozen after being prepared to use for a future breakfast?

    Thank you!

    1. Hi Missy! I’ve never frozen this cooked casserole, but here’s my best guess: It would be safe to freeze, but the texture of the cheese may become different and the bread will probably be mushier. I hope this helps!

  2. Looking for a breakfast casserole recipe that includes hash browns, ham and cheese.
    Thanks 🎄

    1. I don’t have one, but maybe someone can share a good one with us in the comments?

    2. Just use this one and use those ingredients instead of the sausage. Put the hashbrowns on the bottom, add the ham and cheese, then pour the eggs on top.

I made this for my husband’s bible study group and it was a hit! Wouldn’t change a thing about the recipe, except maybe using my homemade bread instead of store-bought. Definitely will make again, and soon!

  4. Thanks Kate, I now have my Christmas morning meal planned.

I used to make a very similar casserole years ago that used crescent rolls as the bottom crust, and I think only 6 eggs. So good….and I had kind of forgotten about it until your post, so thanks for the reminder! Great with just coffee, juice and maybe some fruit. We’ve even had it for dinner!
