Inside: Welcome to the weekend and our weekly catch-up, Come Sit By Me. I’m spilling the sweet tea on what’s happened this week, what’s inspiring me, and a few things that have caught my eye that I think you’ll love too!

Welcome to “Come Sit By Me”! It’s our chance to catch up on the little things I’d share with you this week if we could chat on the porch over coffee (or wine depending on the time of day).
Life Lately in a Nutshell.
- Do you play bunco? Somehow I never played in any of my neighborhood groups, but it’s a fantastic way to get to know people better! One of my girlfriends asked me to sub in hers this week and she treated us to a cute “Galentine’s Day” theme with some delicious melt-in-your-mouth brisket, buttery, cheesy scalloped potatoes, Valentine sweets, and a cute red cocktail. I even won five whole dollars. Here’s a pic we texted to the missing fourth in our friend group so she could have FOMO😂:

- For as beautiful as the weather was last week, it’s just as miserably cold here this week. It was in the eighties last Saturday (I was wearing shorts!) and within an hour the temps plummeted. It’s supposed to be even colder next week. I am not built for this.
- There are so many nasty viruses taking people down right now, I went and got a flu shot even though I rarely ever get one. It may be too late, but fingers crossed I can at least avoid that misery.

If you’re a fan of collections, this round up of ideas for decorating with ginger jars has some good inspiration.

This green bathroom is just beautiful and I especially love this scalloped bath rug.

This cane recycled glass set is on sale this week and I’m so tempted to get it for the warmer days ahead.

This DIY Roman shade is perfect. It requires no sewing, no embroidery and it seems pretty easy to do. Love it!
