It’s that retail “Christmas in July” time again—Amazon Prime Days!
Between being busy setting up my new home and the expenses of moving, I was even more excited than usual to take advantage of any discounts I could by ordering this week.
I loaded up my cart with some things to help me get organized and a few things I’ve just been meaning to buy. I thought I’d share them as well as some of the past products I’ve bought on Amazon that I still feel good about recommending. (I’ll update you later on if I liked my new purchases)
Although some of the products in the post aren’t on Prime Day sale, they’re still worth checking out while you’re in your Prime account!
What I Ordered:
7-Foot Faux Olive Tree – This tall size looks decent in customer photos, so I’m giving it a chance for only $79. I’ll let you know if it’s too fake-y.
2-Tier Pull Out Spice Rack Organizer for Cabinets – Instead of a turntable or risers, I think this pullout option might be better for seeing spices in a regular upper cabinet.
Drawer Dividers – There’s nothing like having to put your clothes back into fewer drawers when you move to make you want to get organized. I bought these adjustable dividers for my dresser drawers hoping they’ll keep my clothes in the part of the drawers where I want them to stay..
Items I’ve Loved:
Fillable Touch-Up Paint Pens – So easy to keep these loaded for quick touchups on the walls instead of opening the gallon cans every time.
Area Rugs – Going on one and two years old, I still love this ReaLife Machine Washable Area Rug and this Orion Geometric Trellis Rug.
Battery Operated Coffee Whisk – About five bucks on the Prime Day deal and something I enjoy using every morning.
Quilted Coverlet – This coverlet I use on my bed is just the right weight and so affordable.
Rubbermaid Power Scrubber – This little cleaning tool does some of the detail scrubbing work for you.
Dog Steps – I felt like my dog was sad because she can’t see out of any of the front windows of the new house. My solution was the very low 2-step version of these pet steps. She’s so tiny I didn’t want anything she might fall or jump off of—I have a feeling I might be sorry when she starts barking at every single person walking by again.
What I Ordered:
Swivel TV Mount – Go ahead and judge, but I can’t wait to get this affordable option in place to swivel the TV towards my bathtub.😊
Cord Covers – The way I’ve arranged my furniture in the family room gives a great view of the lamp and speaker cords all the way from the front door. I ordered these cuttable white cord covers to run up the wall, and this brown cord cover for the wood floor to help make those unsightly cords disappear. I also have a jumble of computer cords next to my desk that I’m going to try to contain with this cable sleeve cover.
Stun Gun – I’ve been meaning to get one of these for my purse forever. This one was recommended as easy to carry by one of my friend’s daughters and it’s part of the Prime Day sale.
What I Still Love:
Phone Case – I still love this super inexpensive case for my IPhone because of the ring on the back. And I don’t want to jinx myself, but as many times as I’ve dropped my phone, I haven’t broken a screen yet.
Air Tag For My Dog – With the move to a new house and how many places I had to take my fur baby during showing the old house, I feel a little more at ease that I’d be able to find her quickly if she got lost with an Apple Air Tag in a silicone pet collar holder.
What I Ordered:
Oofos Recovery Sandals – They may not be the cutest, but these are a super substitute for Hokas when it’s hot. I’ve even worn them to four days of walking at Disneyworld and they were fantastic. My last pair finally blew out and how I’ve missed them!
What I Still Love:
Sleeveless Romper – The cascading ruffles on the front of this romper make it really flattering.
White Sandals – I had a hard time finding white thong sandals at any store, I’ve loved these from Amazon and they were under $40!
Laneige Lip Mask – I can’t get enough of this stuff. I not only love to put a lip mask on before I sleep, but I also use it as a lip gloss.
Lumineaux Teeth Whitening Strips – I feel good about using these nontoxic whitening strips as often as I want and it’s so easy to pop them on for 30 minutes while I’m getting ready once a week.
Let us know in the comments if you have something you absolutely love from Amazon you think we should know about. If you’re taking part in the sale, I hope you score some smoking hot deals today and tomorrow!
