Ingredients

  • 2 oz Peppermint Vodka
  • 2 oz Kahlua Coffee Liqueur
  • 2 oz Starbucks Cold Brew or your favorite brand*
  • Chocolate chips to melt for the rim
  • Candy canes or peppermint candies to crush for the rim
  • Foaming agent optional
  • Coffee beans for garnish

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate chips in the microwave and put the melted chocolate onto a small plate. Crush peppermint candies in a ziplock bag with a rolling pin or hammer and place onto another small plate. Dip the rim of the glass first into the chocolate and then into the crushed candy canes.
  • Fill a large cocktail shaker with ice, and pour in 2 ounces of peppermint vodka, 2 ounces of coffee liqueur, 2 ounces of cold brew, and a few dashes of cocktail foaming agent if desired.
  • Secure lid and shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and frothy.
  • Strain the mixture into martini glasses. To garnish, place three coffee beans on top of the foam.

Notes

*I used the ready made cold brew vanilla sweet cream flavor from the refrigerated dairy section. If you use cold brew concentrate, you might want to use less for less strong coffee flavor.
If you use an unsweetened version of cold brew, you may want to add a little simple syrup.
