Well, it was okay. I wonder how they make the glaze stay coated on top? I poured the glaze over the cake but it didn’t want to stay. I actually made two batches of the glaze (which wasn’t near as good as the Starbucks frosting anyway). Oh well. I tried.

    1. It is a lot about the glaze isn’t it? Sometimes when this happens, it’s either the powdered sugar has too much liquid added making it too thin, or the cake isn’t completely cool before putting the glaze over the top. I made this one fairly thick so that I spread it over the top with a frosting spatula and it still dripped down the sides just the right amount. I also cooled it for several hours before. I hope this helps if you ever make it again!

    1. I’m so sorry that happened. Something can occasionally be off on the day we cook, whether it be a too hot oven or a bad ingredient. Baking can be finicky. I hope it still tasted good!

  3. Yum! This sounds delicious! I would love to share this on my newsletter next week. Hugs to you.
