  1. I’m going to try this recipe this year – it looks pretty simple with everyday items. I will add the Tony’s seasonings and maybe some crawfish!

    Hi Kate! I love your blog! Just wanted to say, I’ve used Pepperidge Farm dressing mix with homemade cornbread in my dressing for many,many years I guess great minds think alike! Lol!!

    1. Thanks Diane and thank you for following! I started using the Pepperidge Farm mix years ago from my stepmother’s copy of a recipe that ran in the Shreveport Times in Louisiana. It makes things so much faster and adds the dressing flavor at the same time. I love a good shortcut!

    It’s not Thanksgiving at our house without Cornbread Dressing! I use my grandma’s recipe that is very similar to yours except she used biscuits instead of bread. Yummy!!!
