Instructions
Pour the chilled strawberry lemonade and vodka into a large pitcher.
Add the sliced strawberries and blueberries.
Stir gently to combine.
Serve immediately, or keep chilled until ready to serve. For a lighter drink, stir in 1 to 2 cups lemon sparkling water before serving. Pour over ice if desired and garnish with additional strawberries, blueberries, and fresh mint.
Notes
Use well-chilled strawberry lemonade for the best flavor.
Add ice only to individual glasses if desired to prevent the pitcher from becoming diluted.
If using sparkling water, add it just before serving to maintain the fizz.
This recipe can easily be doubled for parties and cookouts.
For a nonalcoholic version, simply omit the vodka.
Bottled strawberry lemonade gives this recipe its berry flavor and pink color without needing homemade syrup or freshly squeezed lemons.
Plain vodka works well, but lemon vodka can be substituted for additional citrus flavor.
Fresh strawberries and blueberries provide the best flavor and presentation. Frozen berries can be used but may soften as they thaw.
